Between the Stripes
Zebra Technologies was looking for a way to reverse declining attendance at the Quarterly Management Review WebExe and expand the information provided. Quicksilver had already helped executive management remind the America’s Sales Team that they were Setting the Pace for the industry through a creative presentation of previous year accomplishments and future plans. Building on our knowledge of the company and its products, Quicksilver created Between the Stripes. Originating from a Chicago area hotel to work around Zebra’s IT restrictions, five members of Executive Management presented in person and five more via phone lines from around the globe to a live audience of 125 and remote audiences of several hundred. Presentations were well rehearsed and concise, questions from the audience were lively and attendance hit record levels.

Right Management: A Brand New Day
Right Management is a global provider of integrated human resources consulting solutions. Historically, they have held annual meetings for their staff by flying everyone to a nice venue in a warm destination for several days. Current economic conditions had them looking for alternatives.
The 2009 Annual Kickoff Webcast was a two-day meeting viewed in four two-hour segments via the Internet. Preproduction included location video shoots in five cities in 12 days, resulting in 25 video roll-ins. Our production team worked closely with client IT teams to establish proper Web links, traverse and test firewalls, installed a multi-camera studio and originated four seamless, live, sessions complete with audience polling, audience-generated questions, and speaker support.
Right Management effectively communicated important messaging, including a new brand initiative, to their global employee base. It was an overwhelming
success - without the expenses of a venue and travel.

Quarterly Webcasts
Visiting eight remote offices quarterly was becoming a scheduling challenge for GE execs, yet the value of being face-to-face with employees on a regular basis and answering their frank questions about the state of the business was invaluable. The solution was webcasting, originating from a different office each quarter to maintain the local connection. Quicksilver provided multi-camera production services and worked alongside GE’s IT team to evolve their internal streaming capabilities. Over the last three years, the program has taken on more of a “talk show” format while continuing to motivate questions from both the live audience and participants across the country and around the globe.
