Sales—Account Executive

Join an exciting team and succeed in the delivery of creative communications programs that include corporate meetings, video, multi-media, web-based, internet solutions, and collateral design and development. Our team consists of trained professionals skilled in planning, designing and producing award winning programs for sales and marketing, human resources and training programs. Headquartered in Chicago, we serve clients globally.

An ideal candidate will have a B.S. or B.A. degree, with 3 to 5 years of experience selling to upper management and Fortune 1000 corporations. Our Account Executives work both independently and with team support to identify new clients, write proposals and utilize individual networking skills to produce new revenue. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable leading a sales presentation, familiar with Quicksilver Associates’ full range of communication solutions and possess the ability to understand the clients’ business issues, goals and objectives and translate them into a Quicksilver value proposition. Candidate must possess excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills, a great team attitude, and the ability to thrive in a results-oriented environment along with the instinct to close opportunities. Industry experience and existing client base/relationship is a plus.

Web/Interactive Designer and Developer

Our Web/Interactive Designer and Developer will fill a critical position in our Internet Solutions team and must be both an energetic, thoughtful self-starter as well as a proven team player. The skills we would like you to possess include: HTML, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, CSS, Browser Compatibility, User Interface Elements, Design Principles. You will work with other experienced professionals who understand client objectives, customer service and deliver exciting, successful creative solutions.

You must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

The overall responsibility is to combine your experience, creativity, and an excellent grasp of interactive behavior to generate effective and eye-catching communications. Specific requirements:

  • Contribute to the development of strategic solution designs based on understanding user, business, and functional requirements
  • Interpret use cases and technical requirements to deliver a working site map, wireframes, and functional prototype
  • Create mock-ups and wire-frames that maintain brand consistency and style
  • Provide usability and user experience analysis based on best practices and heuristic evaluation
  • Code pages using HTML and CSS  
  • Design and code banners, emails, and landing pages
  • Make suggestions for improving and optimizing sites (i.e., delight the client)
  • Test and assure multi-browser compliance
  • Keep current on emerging interactive tools and techniques that can enhance client solutions
  • Contribute to ongoing development and planning of the company’s online tool set.

Qualifications:

  • Strong design portfolio that exemplifies understanding of typography, usability, color and layout fundamentals
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members, management, and clients
  • Able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment
  • Extensive experience designing effective web-based interfaces for consumer-facing web sites and applications
  • Exceptional skills with web development tools and technologies such as HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, and Javascript
  • Working knowledge of ASP.NET, ASP Classic, VBScript, and Flash / ActionScript a plus

Freelance PowerPoint Designers

Experience

Should possess a minimum of 4 years of PowerPoint design and animation experience with increasingly complex assignments and have a proven understanding of all of the software’s built-in tools, as well as the ability to incorporate Flash, video, and other media. On-site meeting experience and the ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure are a plus.
